Only just heard this sad news. Aidan and the team did some great work for us in Dalkeith, overcoming some tricky logistical problems. A lovely man who I am sure will be sorely missed by all. RIP.
Aidan Bedford (7 Sep 1970 - 9 Nov 2018)
In loving memory of Aidan Bedford who sadly passed away suddenly at home on 9th November 2018.
Aidan was born in York on the seventh of September nineteen seventy to Heather and Frank. He was their fourth son and young brother to Paul, Matthew and Michael. His sister Judith, born after Aidan, completed the Bedford family.
Joining the army as a musician at 16, Aidan spent his military career first with the Royal Irish Regimental Band, and then the band of the Welsh Guards, before leaving the army in 2000.
He had 3 children with Alison - James, William, and Chloe.
He met Claire in 2010, and moved to Scotland, setting up home with Claire and their 2 dogs joined the family - Alfie and Bandit. They married in 2014.
Establishing his own landscape gardening business, he grew it so that William and then James also came to Scotland to live and work with their dad.
Aidan was many things is life; a son, a brother, a family man, a military man, a fine musician, a husband, and a friend to many.
