In loving memory of my friend and former colleague Jill Grieve, taken from us way too soon. Jill would light up any room with her presence. It's hard to comprehend that someone so young, so vibrant has been lost to us for almost three years next week. You may be physically lost to us Jill, but your presence is always with us. Rest in peace. Dougie.

As press officer for the south east (1996-2002), I worked with Jill from the day she started at the Countryside Alliance. Such was our bond that she nick-named me 'Mum' (me being somewhat older!) and it was a privilege for me to refer to her as 'Daughter No 2'. Jill was always there for me with back-up and support during some very difficult times for the hunting fraternity and it was a pleasure in more recent years to meet up with her occasionally when she was on the CA stand at shows I visited. Bless you Jill, you have been taken far too soon. Rest in peace.
