Dearest Joan, what a place you must now have. Play your music, knit your things, comfort the little ones, laugh with the oldies, dance and sing and let your eyes gleam with delight. One day we will see you again and Ethan asks you to hug his nannie and his nana pat xx Enjoy your time now for you have a rich reward now in heaven xx xx

What a miss she will be. She was a true friend. Won’t have as many £2 coins now she’s not saving them for me. Her hats always matched the rest of her outfits. Goodbye Joan.

A sad day for all who knew Joan as she'll be so missed by so many. It's also a wonderful day for Joan who is finally in the presence of her Lord and Saviour who she has served so faithfully. I imagine her playing the most amazing organ for the angels to sing to, in her element, wearing a fabulous hat. Enjoy your forever Joan xx

  • Thank you so much for the lovely tribute to my Mam, she was one of a kind, always thinking of others and always faithful to her Lord and Saviour. She had such an impact on so many people and to us as a family. We will miss her but she’s with her Lord and out of her suffering. She loved her hats too and to many she was the hat lady x
