What a lovely person Phil was, always so helpful and willing to give his time up to help. He will be dearly missed by so many more than just his family as so many thought of him as family. It was a real honor to therefore be asked to carry you into the church. You will live on in our memories forever. Xx

In loving memory of Philip William Millard who sadly passed away on 7th November 2018 after a sudden illness aged 69.
Phil was born in Taunton, Somerset and was the beloved Husband of Carol and brother to Janet. Happily married for 48 years with 2 daughters Ali and Jo.
Phil was a big family man and loved nothing more than spending time with his three Granddaughters. Dani, Nicole and Olivia.
Phil loved family holidays and Italy held a special place in his heart.
Phil was a very passionate sports fan. He was a season ticket holder at Manchester United. He also loved cricket especially Somerset and England.
Phil enjoyed running in the 1980's when he completed 2 marathons. His PB was a very respectable 3:40!!! (he never let us forget this!) More recently enjoyed cycling and completed the London to Brighton bike ride with family and friends showing great determination by making it to the top of Ditchling Beacon.
Phil spent many hours on the side of a swimming pool firstly as a parent and then as a Swimming Coach for Tigersharks in Swindon. He was very successful inspiring hundreds of children. He was always able to get the best out of people. Two of the swimmers Phil coached went on to compete successfully in the Olympics.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
