You gave me life. You gave me love, You kept me warm and kept me safe and lifted me up when I was down. You were always there when I made mistakes and helped me out countless times. You are my dad and I am your son, I give you my thanks, my heart and promise you that for as long as I draw breath you will always live on. You are my dad and I am your son and from this time on we shall always be one.
I draw my strength from you and I shall forever be your stronghold.
You are not gone and can never be forgotten. love you dad xxx
I will never say goodbye.

Grandad it's been a week since you peacefully left us. As much as we miss you and our hearts ache to have one more conversation and laugh with you, one last hug with you, we knew it was your time and knowing your not in any pain now is what keeps us strong. You will forever be in our hearts grandad & we will all look after Nana like we know you would want us to, and of course eachother like you always would say. There's so much more to be said grandad, but for now, just know how much we love and miss you!
All my love,
Ella xxxxxx
