In loving memory of Margaret Laurann 'Marg' Bowser who sadly passed away on 26th October 2018.

It is families request that no black clothing to be worn please. It is also the request of no flowers please, but donations can be made on the day of the service. Everyone is invited to celebrate my mums life after at Potters Green Community Centre, Wigston Road , Coventry , I have organised food ect and ask if you could all sign a book of condolence which will be there with pictures of mum .

My mum was born on 29th November 1938 in Coventry unfortunately her mother became ill so mum went to live in Wales with relatives until her teenage years , then she came back to Coventry to live with her dad . In mums teenage years she raced greyhounds this is where she met her Best Friend Nora Cope , Nora and her family made my mum welcome to their home mum told me she was more like her sister than her friend . My mum met my dad Charlie who was in the RAF and they went to Edinburgh to marry . They had us 3 children Billy , Terry and myself. When I was young mum stayed at home until she decided to go to qualify to be a special needs nursery nurse she worked at Broad Park School , Hawkesbury Fields and Bagington special schools in Coventry. As kids we enjoyed family holidays to Butlins and later abroad . On 25th May 1993 we lost my dad due to a heart attack , for the past 25 years mum lived alone and enjoyed her breaks away with friends and family . My went to her groups Heartlink and Silver Surfers where she had many friends . Mum had many friends along the way and I hope when they read this that they will remember her. Mum helped myself and my husband raise our 5 children who love her so much the fondly called her Upsidaisy Grandma she is the apple of their eye .6 weeks before mum passed away I found her in bed she was taken to hospital where they treated her for a bleeding ulcer , but unfortunately she has pneumonia and COPD and nothing was working . Mum came home where myself and family cared for her until she passed away 13 days later . I am thankful for that time spent with her as never a day went by that I didn't see or speak to her we are so close .

I look back on my life and thank her and my dad for all their love , support and fantastic adventures that we had together. Mum is with my dad and Billy now on their adventures . I love you with all of my heart from your Bestest Girl In All The World All The Time Sally XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Dear Great Aunty Margaret.
It’s was so sad to hear of your passing and you will be sadly missed. As a child, when we would come and visit, we always had laughs and jokes. Very much so with Uncle Charlie who was a character. You were no different in particular in later life you were full of joy and had an amazing sense of humour. You were always there for your family and now your family are there for you.
Gwen and I were so happy that you were able to attend our wedding and we were very grateful. We both hope that your enjoying yourself now as much as you did in life.

My Aunty Marg was sister to my dad, I am one of ten children, there were times when both mum and dad did not cope well and occasionally I recall that Aunty Marg not only bathed, dressed and clothed us she gave us love especially remember her messing with my hair and kisses on the forehead. She was a tower of strength to me when my beloved elder sister passed away even more so when 11 months later followed by my mum. A few years ago her vital support after having bowel removed and personal trauma she extended a welcome hug and hand welcoming us again into her home despite she her self was not very well she helped me at a time of need and will forever be grateful and miss her tender caress and loving forehead kisses. Until we meet again Loving Niece Ruth ( Ruthie)

I first met you in 1997,I remember being very nervous as you were so important to heather, but you made me feel at home straight away and I soon realised why heather loved you so much. Over the years that followed I realised what an amazing woman you were and came
to love you as though you were my aunt as well. Your passing has left a hole in my heart that nothing will ever fill. I have some wonderful memories to help when the pain becomes unbearable. Rest in peace aunty Margaret.xxx
