In loving memory of Alice Winifred Knight who sadly passed away on 20th October 2018, aged 98 years.
Alice was born in Stornoway, Scotland and moved to Kent at the age of 13. She then attended Chatham Grammar School for Girls and upon leaving school she undertook an apprenticeship in hairdressing. Alice then went on to join the Land Army where she served in Higham.
Alice met her husband Fred at a dance and they married in 1950, they shared 40 happy years of marriage until Fred sadly passed away in June 2000. Alice and Fred had two children Graham and Paula, and she was also Grandma to Sarah, Lucy, Mark and Glen.
