Son, Hubby, Dad, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, Vance, Mudeevee, Del...no matter what he was to you please come and celebrate his part in your life at the crematorium at 13:30
I invite his biking friends to come to the house for a last "ride out", assemble from midday please, to end at Guildford crematorium for a celebration at 13:30. And afterward at The Manor Inn Beefeater GU7 3BX.
A warm, generous and loving man who threw himself at life. His loves included family, music, cinema, CFC, his motorbikes and friends and I will miss him forever.
No flowers please! Donations to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, who looked after Derek and all of us, in the last few days of his life. They were truly wonderful.
Sleep my love, all will be well.

I am priviledged to have had Derek as a nephew and to have followed his progress from the sight of him from birth [well from a day old] I believe he achieved many of his ambitions and in doing so became a credit to his community.He enjoyed a loving relationship with his mother sisters and late father, He was also blessed in his relationship with his wife Laura who sustained him in his final struggles.
HE WILL BE REMEMBERED.
