What do you think? Was feeling a bit nostalgic!
Dear Aunty Glad - we remember you and uncle George so well! When we lived in Catford, we always felt so welcome and loved visiting you. We remember the coach trips to Wembley for the 'holiday on ice' Xmas shows, we remember when uncle George broke his leg, we remember your gold jewellery, we remember the waterwork's building where George worked, where Gill got married, and where Sue and I got drunk for the first time! We remember Eva and Bert's caravan in Dymchurch and the holidays we spent there with you and your family in yours. We remember when your beloved daughter, Linda, died and we know about your strength and dignity when you took such great care of your grandchildren, Tanya and Jason. We remember your Afghan hounds and the tripe in your freezer when you lived in Strood, We remember always being intrigued and enchanted about the romance of how you met George during the war - on a station platform? We know how much your daughter Gill loves you and we know that you have left behind an amazing family, where your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will rally round to support each other and remember you. We are so sorry we didn't get to see much of you in recent years - but you were always part of our life and you always will be!
Lots of love and fond memories
Sue and Paula x
