Jessie 'Connie' Murphy (9 Sep 1925 - 6 Oct 2018)

In loving memory of Jessie ‘Connie’ MURPHY who sadly passed away on Saturday 6th October 2018 aged 93 years.
Much Loved Mother & Grandmother, she will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew her.
Connie grew up In Liverpool and moved to Woking in 1964 with her husband Len and children Carolyn and Stuart.
Connie worked at Woking Water Co. As a wages clerk and moved with them to Staines when the Company became North West Surrey Water Co.
Sadly Len died in 1979 but Connie made a new life for herself by taking up golf at Woking Golf Club where she made many new friends who she kept in touch with despite retiring from the game a few years ago.
Connie remained independent and in her own home until she went in to hospital in July after a fall at home.
She was the last of her seven siblings to die and it is very much the end of an era for the Quail family. She was a real matriarch and we will think long and hard of all the good times she enjoyed during her life.
