In loving memory of Sebastian Jeffrey Roman Semak who sadly passed away on 23rd September 2018
I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy, Sebastian Jeffrey Roman Semak, at 18:18 on the 22/09/18 weighing 7lb 8oz. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown he was not breathing. A team worked on him for 26 minutes and pronounced him dead. Then around 45 minutes later a miracle happened and he was breathing with a pulse. He was rushed to neonatal, but his heart was too tired and he eventually died in our arms at 3:15 on the 23/09/18. Words cannot begin to describe our emotions. There is no known cause of death currently. An investigation is already underway. We are so proud of the fight our baby boy gave. He showed his strength of character, even though his life was so short lived. We want to celebrate our precious boy and how beautiful and perfect he was. Too special for this world!
We would rather not have floral tributes at the funeral, but put the money to good use by donating it to the charities, 4Louis, Simba and Zephyrs-Nottingham university charity, that have been a lifeline to us during this heartbreaking time and support them in helping other families enduring baby loss and the same pain.
