In loving memory of John Desmond Hewitt who sadly passed away on 24th September 2018.

John was born in Sheffield but spent most of his early years in Retford before joining the army and being sent to Palestine. He had many a story to tell about his time there. On returning home he met and married Olive and they lived happily together in Mansfield, and was devoted to his only son John Micheal Hewitt who sadly passed away early 2018 after battling a brain tumour. He was reunited with his long lost brother Graham and family,after a long time apart . They were both happy to fill their time sharing all their lost memories ,but their love for each other was evident from the beginning
