Suddenly in hospital on October 7th aged 84 years, Alan. The beloved partner of Betty. The devoted dad of Alan, Alison and father-in-law of Debbi and Alan. The cherished grandad of Callum and great-grandad of Gary. The much-loved brother of Cliff. A good friend of Derek, Susan, Sean, Scott, David, Joanne, Georgia and Danielle. A dear uncle and a much-loved friend to many. Friends please meet for service on Thursday October 18th for service in St Andrew’s Parish Church, Chilton Moor at 1.00pm. Committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Burnside WMC for refreshments. By request, family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, towards the work of Dementia UK and Cancer Research UK. A donation box will be provided.
