In loving memory of Kathleen Bernadette Bunn who sadly passed away on 6th October 2018.
Kay the loving wife of Mike Bunn, Mother to William, Sarah, Michael and Anna and of course a Granny too. Kay loved Traveling, Acting, Reading and the occasional Gin!
After attending St Joseph's Convent School, she embarked upon a Buyership at Scotch House in London, thoroughly enjoying the London life and making many great friends there.
She journeyed back to Lincoln upon marrying Mike Bunn and had a long and happy marriage being a wife and mother to her four children.
During her spare time she had many friends, she also enjoyed supporting the church and various charities, she loved a good jumble sale!
Kay's greatest passion was Theatre, both on and off the stage! Kay has been in many Theatre performances over the years playing Elvira in Blithe Spirit, Lady Metcalf in Beyond Reasonable Doubt and The Washer Women in Wind and The Willows, just to name a few.
After retiring from her Receptionist Job at the Lincoln County Hospital, Kay launched her career as a TV extra working on Casualty, The Royal, Coronation Street and many others.
When Kay found the time in her busy schedule she loved to travel going on adventures around the world from Safaris in Kenya, Helicopter rides in the Grand Canyon, to a glass of champagne at the top of the Empire Estate building on her 70th birthday.
Kay always loved entertaining and has touched the life of many over the years. May those happy memories stay with you all.

I am with you in spirit as you say a final farewell to a loving mother, granny and friend. I have many happy memories of 'treading the boards' with you Kay - may your star shine brightly for eternity xx

Kay & I were colleagues in Outpatients at Lincoln County Hospital - we also shared a living faith in Jesus Christ - I am an Anglican priest so we had many lively ecumenical discussions across the desk area we shared. I will always remember her with a smile - her flamboyant toss of the head as she left the office pushing her trolley to clinic laden with patient files. It was always our agreement that at Midnight Mass we would think of each other as we knelt at the Communion rail - this year I will give thanks for her life as she is now in His closer presence.

I am so sad. Kay and I shared the stage together so many times since our twenties. She was such a caring person. May she rest in peace. I shan't be able to attend the funeral, as I'm away.
