Melvyn DUNCAN Paterson (22 May 1946 - 29 Sep 2018)
In loving memory of Melvyn Duncan Paterson who sadly passed away on 29th September 2018 after a short stay in hospital.
Duncan was born on 22 May 1946 in Kellington (between Pontefract & Selby), North Yorkshire to Andrew and Mary Paterson and was known early in life as Melvyn or Mel, and later as Duncan.
Duncan had long service with the RAF and served in the Falklands War. He was also awarded an MBE for volunteer services to SSAFA.
Duncan leaves his wife Andrea, daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Giles, grandsons Clarence & Rupert, brother Neil and sisters Donna & Nicola.
He will be remembered by Andrea & Jennifer for his saying “ALL IS WELL”.
