Peacefully in hospital on September 20th after a long illness aged 84 years, Kenneth (Ken). The dearly loved husband of Jaqueline. A much loved dad, step dad, grandad and great grandad. Friends please meet on Thursday October 4th for service in Union Street Methodist Church, Hetton-le-Hole at 11.30am. Committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Eppleton Cricket Club for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to Ward E50, Sunderland Royal Hospital. Jacqueline and the family wish to thank everyone for their kind wishes, donations and floral tributes. Donations will be given to Ward E50, Sunderland Royal Hospital which totalled £260. Ken was always the guy who makes you smile always happy and most certainly made me happy when I was down. County Durham always holds a special place in my heart just doesn't feel the same without you xx we all love you so so much.
