I feel lucky to have had such a lovely Mum-in-law, only 1 cross word in 40 years and that was over in 15 minutes with tears and hugs from us both 💕
I will always be grateful for your love and for giving me such a lovely husband - he would not be the person he is without so good and loving a Mum & Dad as you and Peter. You will both live on in your wonderful grandchildren and their children, your characters reflect and shine in them all so often and will remind us of you every day.
Thanks always for loving us all and giving so much for us. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Love always, - I hope you have found each other and are dancing up there together xxxx Andrea xxxx

Words are not enough,
To say what I want to say,
Nan, I’ll never forget you,
And remember you every day.

Although we cannot see you,
It doesn’t mean you’ve gone,
Cause we love you and you’re in our thoughts,
Your memory will always live on.

Nan, it’s time now to say goodbye,
You’re someone we’ll always love,
You’ll be missed so dearly,
At peace now – up above.

I miss you so much.

All my love,

Emma xxxx

The first time I met you I felt like I was meeting the queen. You were a true lady. You welcomed Josh into your home and instantly took him on as your great-grandson. Josh would always ask can he go to Nans as Mum and Dad are boring. You would play catch and talk for hours, you always said he was good company. Most recently when I visited, you would tell people you had 5 grandchildren (including me as an adopted one). The last time I spoke with you, you kept saying that Josh was a lovely young man and we should be proud of him and that I had a beautiful family. When Thomas was born you were so proud (although you had hoped for a little great- granddaughter) but wouldn't have changed Thomas for the world. You loved to watch him play and have a wiggly dance with him. Thomas adored his Nanny. I love you like you are my own Nan. I feel very privileged to have been part of your life and Thank you for welcoming Josh and I into your life. You smiled with your eyes and could light up a room with a smile. Family celebrations won't quiet be the same without you (and the draft). Night night Nan, miss you loads. Thank you for being an inspiration. Love you xxx

As I look back over time
I find myself wondering .....
Did I remember to thank you enough
For all you have done for me?
For all the times you were by my side
To help and support me .....
To celebrate my successes
To understand my problems
And accept my defeats?
Or for teaching me by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgement,
Courage and integrity?
I wonder if I ever thanked you
For the sacrifices you made.
To let me have the very best?
And for the simple things
Like laughter, smiles and times we shared?
If I have forgotten to show my
Gratitude enough for all the things you did,
I'm thanking you now.
And I am hoping you knew all along,
How much you meant to me.

Good night mum, loves you xx

Malcolm

Mum

No amount of words can express how I feel. You were the best Mum I could have wished for, and always there when I needed you.

Although my heart is breaking at the moment, I take comfort that you are not in pain anymore, and safe in the arms of Dad.

I will never stop loving and missing you Mum.

Rest in peace.

Carol

Nan,
The sky is full of shining stars but you were always the brightest. The day you passed, the sky lost it’s brightest most shining star.  Not only the brightest but the most loving, caring and smiling star.
You’ve now been reunited with Grandad and you both deserve to be having the most wonderful time being back in each other's arms.
Not a day will pass that we won't think of you or miss coming around for a hug, a cuppa and a chat.
Until we meet again for a hug, keep the kettle warm.  There will be a lot to catch up on.
We miss and love you Nan
