In loving memory of Sheila Whyatt who sadly passed away on 3rd September 2018

Hi everyone,

This is William, Sheila’s son. I had hoped to speak with everyone individually, but Mum has such a large group of wonderful friends and family, and we’ve been rather hopeless, so I’m really sorry if we have missed you, and please do let others not on facebook know.

Mum passed away on the 3rd of September whilst arriving at Hospital for an X-ray to see why she had been so breathless recently. She had not been well for a while, but it was still very unexpected. She had a heart attack, and was in the immediate care of a huge number of incredible professionals, but there was nothing they could do.
Due to the circumstances, we have only just been able to arrange a date for the funeral. The details are below. It would be wonderful to see those who can make it and we look forward to discussing our happy memories of Sheila afterwards.

Thank you all for the cards, flowers and support over the last few days. It has meant an incredible amount to me and my father.

Service
Starts at 2:45pm, in the Serenity Chapel, on Monday the 24th September

So very sad to see Shelia’s passing. We were very old work colleagues when she worked as a GP Receptionist @Strelley Health Centre for Dr Pathak. I worked as part of the District Nursing team in the treatment room. I will forever remember Shelia for her big smile and personality. She was ever supportive through the tough job of working in the health service. Great memories of many laughs and tough moments with the Public, we always got through. A great member of the “ Strelley team” way back in the late 1990’s RIP.
