Eileen Joan Harwood (3 Jul 1930 - 4 Sep 2018)

Hi, I have just found out about your mum's passing, as you can see, I live in Italy. I was in contact with her since my kids left the creche at Hackney Downs, all through the years we have lived abroad, kept in touch by letter/card and visited when I passed through Thorpe Bay to visit a cousin. I thought the post was the reason that I hadn't heard from her these past 2 Christmases. Please accept our belated condolences. We loved Eileen, she meant the world to my kids (now 36 and 34), they learnt to swim , loved her afternoon teas and dressing up at her group and vsited often when we returned to London. I know how hard she took the loss of Harry, we spoke often at the time. Hope they are happy together once more.
