Aunty Margaret, I will always remember that warm friendly smile of yours that would light up the room. Such a kind and caring person. You were such a loving sister to my dad (Pete) and I am truly grateful for that. Unfortunately you have been taken from us far to soon but you are no longer suffering and are at peace now. You are going to be missed by many.
Sleep tight aunty Margaret
Lots of love

  • Such a lovely statement Vickie. We will miss Aunty Margaret, especially dad. He really, really wanted to attend her funeral today, all of it, and say Goodbye to his one and only sister, who he loved. We were determined to do everything we could to do that for him, which was a challenge. One that we achieved, with thanks to his carers and more especially our taxi driver (who's own parents are buried in Clifton cemetery and must have been very difficult for him). As a family you, me and dad, together said Goodbye to Aunty Margaret. Sleep tight and rest in peace Aunty Margaret. Much love Karen xxx

My Aunty Margaret
I shall remember you for the lovely, kind and gentle person that you were, but more especially your warming smile and touching laugh. We shared the same birthday, which won't be the same again - the cards and the texts will be missed. You will be missed.
However, I was fortune, for the first time for as long as I can remember, to spend some time with you last Christmas day - this I shall always have a special memory of.
Sadly you were taken from us too soon and I was unable to say goodbye to you, but you are suffering no more. You will always be in my thoughts, rest in peace Aunty Margaret.
Love Karen xxx

Diane Middleton donated £10 in memory of Margaret

Margaret was a school friend at Dunsmore School and we were confirmed together at St. Oswalds Church when we were about 13. I used to cycle up Clifton Lane from Hillmorton to attend confirmation classes with Margaret at The Rectory with Revd Simpson but before each session I would have tea with Margaret and her family at Vicarage Hill. Happy days.

  • Andy and Linda's wedding day 05/10/1985 taken with Eva Ward nee Barnett aged 85, Margaret's Auntie. Eva was very proud of her nieces and nephews and always had great stories to tell of them growing up in the village of Clifton.
