Missing you so much Alex, thinking of you all the time.

You were the most gentle, lovable and loyal best friend anyone could ever wish for. From meeting you at the same type of situations in our lives to having a wonderful unbreakable bond. I still do things and think 'What would Alex say?' or think 'I'll just drop Alex a message' but it breaks my heart so much realising I cannot do this.

How I wish I could hug you, laugh with you and tell you how much you mean to all of us. I would give anything for that. As I write this with tears in my eyes, know you were so so loved and still are. It's almost 2 years since you left us, our lives will never be the same without you.

Miss you so much buddy, I will forever chrish our happy memories.

Love you forever and always <3

Taking a deep breath as I jump into today.
I don't think you could have ever known the impact you've had since leaving, Al. Immeasurable love from lives you've played a part in.
You'd be so proud of your girl, & I know your boys will be in your heart forever.
This might be goodbye, but it's far from the end.
Thank you for the years of memories, you daft, funny, kind, awful time keeper.
We have all smiled a little more because of you.
Our magician.
Forever.

Oh my dear, sweet, gentle, funny, loving friend - how heart sore and broken am I with the loss of you from this world.
How much richer has my journey been Alex - Mr Magi-can, with you walking a path close by.

You brought such joy and happiness, such face aching fun and good humour. You gave such love and kindness, such good heart to those of us lucky enough to share part of the journey with you.

There was no deceit in your desolate struggle - only a desire to protect those you loved from the true depth of your pain and the worst of the demons which tormented you.

There was no cowardice in your constant battling, in your fight to overcome the monsters which assailed you. And if, in the end you decided to walk into the unknown - then courage there too - in the bravery of letting go.

Know that although we have arrived, far too soon, at a parting in the road, the richness and warmth of the memories you leave behind will be carried in my heart for the rest of my journey here, and they will be readily shared and swapped with all those who wish to hear, to remember and to celebrate you short time among us.

I hope you have found peace lovely one, and the inner calm and comfort you so needed and deserved.

You were - you are, so very much loved Alex.

Thank you my friend …..
Gaye xx
