My dad, a true hero with a heart of gold.

He devoted his whole life to my mum and me, and then my son Thomas.

A man that would give everything even when he had nothing. A man who would help anyone even when he couldn’t help himself.

There is not a single person that knew my dad that could say they never left without a smile on their face or a funny story to remember.

My dad spent his life making others happy, making people’s cheeks hurt and belly’s tickle from his amazing sense of humour.

A man of all trades, a very clever man with an amazing imagination.

My dad taught me and my mum strength and courage. And he certainly taught us about cars too!

Dad, you will never ever be forgotten. Your memories will live on forever. Your strength will admire all. And your soul will guide me through the sad days without you.

HENDRY - On August 27th 2018. Tuck aged 57 years passed away peacefully at home with his Wife, Daughter and Breezy Boy at his side. Missed by many loved by all that truly knew him. My pain isn’t fading and my heart is still broken. I wish this was all a nightmare. I wish you knew how amazing you were. I’m glad you knew how loved you were though. I miss you so much dad xxxxxxxxx

They say time is a healer dad. But the time that has past isn’t healing anything. I don’t understand why this had to happen to you, like you didn’t have enough to deal with. I don’t understand why you had to suffer and be taken away from me. Apparently it means you gave all the love you had and did all the good that needed doing here so you’ve been sent elsewhere to do the same again where it’s needed. But this is rubbish you are needed here I need you, mum needs you and Thomas definitely needs you. You had so much to show him and so much to give him your time shouldn’t be up. 57 is no age especially not for someone as special as you. I miss you dad more than you will ever know. I love you dad more than I could ever put into words. And you where the most special person inside and out this life isn’t fair. I can’t find peace in any way as I don’t think I had even accepted that you had cancer. People tell me your at peace now because you are no longer in pain. Which I understand but I also say you should never have been in that pain in the first place. You are on my mind and in my heart every second of the day. Love your little princess Janine xxxxx

Tomorrow is going to be the hardest day of my life dad. But I’m going to be strong for you because that is what you want. I will never be able to put into words how much I love you or how proud I am of you. My heart is broken but it’s filled with so much love. You loved me with everything you had and I know that. You where so proud of me. But you should be proud of yourself because I am the way I am because of you. The one thing I can’t get out of my mind is that you truly didn’t believe how much of an amazing person you were. You were so humble and I admire you for that. I hope I make you proud tomorrow dad and for the rest of my life. I love you forever and always. From your little princess Janine xxxx

The world is a poorer place without you in it Tuck. A great genuine man full of life and love, words of wisdom. Everything was black and white to you Tuck and you always told it how it was. A funny man for sure, some of your stories I’d be in fits, always made me smile. You will be missed xxxxx

Such an amazing man taken far too soon. Always made me smile whenever I was around him. Anytime there was something wrong with my car he would always be telling me how to fix it - nothing was ever to much trouble! We used to spend hours talking about the fish, the caravan and his cars. Everyone can see how proud he was of his beautiful wife, daughter and of course little Thomas
and just how much he loved them! Love you always! xxxx
