In loving memory of Martin John True who sadly passed away on 6th August 2018.

When Martin was born on 14th August 1944, his parents were living in Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, just a few yards from where he bought his own last home. He lived all his life in West Bridgford and worked for nearly 50 years for Nottingham City Council. He was a shy man, but loyal, kind, honest, trustworthy and devoted to his family. He gave the best years of his life to supporting his father who suffered from Alzheimer's and when he died shared the rest of her long life with his mother as her partner and latterly carer. He loved sport and gardening, especially vegetables. He was a great lover of his country and its history and traditions. In his 60s he was affected by Myasthenia Gravis and though not immediately life threatening this affected his confidence in driving and travelling in his later years.
