Mark Andrew Brierley (5 Mar 1983 - 8 Jan 2015)

Our awesome Mark passed away on 8th January 2015, leaving us broken hearted, but we understand that it hurts so much because he was worth so much. Our lives are richer because of his love, kindness and laughter. We loved his sense of humour and fun.
Mark came into the world on the 5th March 1983 with complications that meant he would need operations and medical assistance to survive, but against all the odds, he did and over 31 years Mark lived a fulfilled life of activities and interests.
As a bright and intelligent Senior Radiographer at Derby Royal Hospital he showed a passion for his work and of careing for others, he loved to teach students.
Marks love of music overflowed into our lives as we enjoyed listening to his guitar playing, and supporting him from gigs as Japanese Government Railways to local open mic nights.
The true love of Marks life was Emma, and they celebrated their love for eachother on their wedding day on the 29th October 2015, an amazing day that we will remember for a lifetime.
Those of us who new Mark, loved Mark and Mark rocked our world. We will not give up our memories or our love; for these unite us in our grief and strengthen us in our tomorrows. In the words of Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they can only be felt "
Mark you are still best and most beautiful - always felt, always with us, always Mark.
