Just an update: Thank you all so much for your support and very kind donations. On behalf of Mum, Mark, Lou and myself (and all of our families) I wanted to let you know that to date £1295.50 was raised in memory of our fantastic husband, dad and grandad Joe - £471.00 for RNIB and £824.50 for The Wisdom Hospice. He would have been over the moon and would have probably said something like, "See-I told you I didn't want people wasting their money on flowers"! :) I think you'll agree it's a fantastic amount and we are all so grateful to you all. Sending you all our love xx
In loving memory of our darling husband, dad and grandad, (and friend to all that met him) Mr Joseph James Datson who sadly left us on 29th July 2018 at The Wisdom Hospice. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and our loss is, as you can imagine, immense. Our hearts are truly broken. During his stay at the Hospice, he continued to befriend all of the staff and other patients, and their visitors, and made everyone smile with his jokes and tricks. He will be forever in our hearts and memories and we feel so lucky to have had him in our lives. We will be celebrating his life on 23rd August at 3:00 at The Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing (Sittingbourne) followed by a gathering at The Memorial Hall in Lower Halstow until 6:30. You are most welcome to join us.
