As a family we only had the privilege of having met Tim a handful of times at Whaddon school when our children all used to attend there many years ago. I and our children personally knew Angie and their children more. But what we did see of Tim was that he came across as such a polite, gentle and caring family man. To Angie and your family with all our love at this tender time. Angela, Mark, Alysha and Alexander xxxxx

Tim made me an uncle, and was the first baby I remember holding.
Proud memories.

Its taken me some time to write a message. I have known Tim on and off for 30 years. One of the great things I always think of with Tim was our expeditions overseas. Travelling with Tim was always easy, Tim always knew where to go and what to do in any city we arrived in. Tim and I would revel in finding a micro-brewery in the US and talk over old times and future plans.

Of course when we went out he would have a call either before or after with the family. Maths homework with Alex often came up as a topic of conversation or Amy's latest uni theatre production. He was so proud of both of them. Helford passage was clearly one of his favourite places and because I had been there more than once it was another common area we would discuss and the family canoe trips.

We had a lot in common and I genuinely enjoyed knowing him.

I miss him

My thoughts are with Angie, Amy & Alex at such a difficult time.

More than just my boss, you were my friend. Kind, thoughtful, funny and supportive to all your colleagues, everyone warmed to you instantly...truly one of the good guys and one of the nicest people I've ever met.

I'll miss talking to you about the breakfast show, about music, about holidays, hotels and restaurants - you knew everywhere to go! I'll miss your desk drumming throughout the day and I'll miss making your tea! I hope you've got a great drum kit up there so that you can carry on playing.

Taken too soon, our pod is empty without you xx
