It’s been 3 years since we said goodbye to you, I still miss the bond we had. I know we didn’t always see eye to eye on things, but we both learnt from each other over the years, and the things I learnt, I’m still doing today and passing on to my family, so your legacy still lives on. We all miss you loads, but I know that you’re at peace now, that, or you’re giving them hell up there, no holding back, same as when you were here with us, we wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Love you always ❤️🌼🌻xx

The last 2 years have been hard without you nan. I miss popping over to your house for a cuppa and a chat (rant) about whatever was happening in the world.

Losing you in the way we did has made it more difficult. I try to remember you before you started to lose who you were. I want to remember the funny, fun, outspoken, brutally honest but loving nan from my childhood. That was the real you, the you I wish my daughters got to meet, the you that is present in so many of my happy childhood memories.

I love you and miss you nan xx

Another year has passed Nan and seems to have absolutely flown by. The world is a weird and sometimes scary place right now but I know you would have shrugged it off whilst rolling a fag!
I know how much you always wanted a girl and it seems that your wishes are being lived out by me and Claire, 3 kids and 1 on the way, and 4 of them are girls!
Sleep tight Nan, we miss you loads ❤️ Xxx

Pearl, I’ll never forget the first time I met you when you swore at politicians on the tv and tried to backtrack about the swear words. It made me laugh! I’ll also never forget when you outright told me “I don’t like your beard, your face needs a haircut”.

It had me in stitches and I tell people to this day about it.

We all still joke about Ben and Lewis having a cup of tea in the living room, and when you sent them back in to the kitchen even though they were around 16 years old!

I’m glad Mollie got to meet you before you went.

I’m glad you’re finally at rest and having a roll up out there (P.S. I’m still useless at rolling them up). X

Nan, I’ll never forget all of those weekends and trips out we shared with you as kids growing up. You was such a huge part of our lives growing up and I have some many memories of laughing with you, normally as you tried to give me a little whack for winding you up.
You’re sorely missed Nan and we will never forget you. Love you!
