In loving memory of Ivana Zavodska who died on Monday 23rd July 2018.
Ivana was very fond of Maggie's.
Maggie's is a cancer charity which provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their relatives.
We both found them very supportive and helpful. And in the way to express her gratitude Ivana would like you to donate to Maggie's rather than bringing flowers.
But if you still feel like you want to bring flowers that's also fine.
If you prefer to make donation on the day of cremation there will be envelopes available for Margaret centre hospice. Ivana spent couple of weeks there to get her symptoms under control. They were very supportive in her wishes and made possible for Ivana to spent her last few weeks at home.

I first met Ivana at the photoshoot for Target Ovarian Cancer's TAKE OVAR campaign, which I was running. I was so impressed from the very first moment by her passion, her resilience, her sense of humour, her steadfastness in an incredibly difficult time. She was so determined to contribute her time and her energy to help other women benefit, despite her own declining health. Truly an inspiration and someone who will have a lasting impression on me and the work I do at Target Ovarian Cancer. Much love to Alex and all the family.

Dear Ivana... I knew I loved you from the very first sight. We didn't have long so I could get to know you well as a person, but your soul was shining bright every time we met - it was enough. Your presence in this world was so substantial and loving - I miss it very much... You stay forever in my heart.

Beloved Ivana,

Always inspired by your strength, I feel immensely grateful for having you in my life.

Here you are, among us, filling our hearts with your love and your presence.

Didi, I know you rest in peace, and that peace is nourishing us now in Earth.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

From Hafiz:

The Woman I Love

Because the Woman I love lives
Inside of you,

I lean as close to your body with my words
As I can

And I think of you all the time, dear pilgrim.

Because the One I love goes with you
Wherever you go,
Hafiz will always be near.

If you sat before me, wayfarer,
With your aura bright from your many
Charms,

My lips could resist rushing to you and needing
To befriend your blushed cheek,

But my eyes can no longer hide
The wondrous fact of who
You Really are.

The Beautiful One whom I adore
Has pitched His royal tent inside of you,

So I will always lean my heart
As close to your soul
As I can.”

p.s: Iva yesterday night told me she was free and that she was very happy she can fly. I found this book that we shared stories from once upon a time. I found it in front of me fallen on the floor shortly after I knew of her passing. Yesterday night i thought intensely of Iva as i closed my eyes then opened the book. And first thing my eyes fell on was 'ICANFLY'. It sounded surprised and easy and happy.

There are many people who enter and leave the garden of our lives. There are those who only stay a short time. Occasionally one these brings a particularly fragrance to the garden, which will be remembered and cherished throughout one's life. Ivana has been one of these special blooms in my garden and I thank my God for her,

Lucy George donated £21 in memory of Ivana

We were deeply saddened to hear of Ivana's passing. She was a great friend to our beloved mother Joan, and they supported each other through the challenges of living with Ovarian cancer. They shared a sense of humour and I know my mum really valued the support and kindness she got from Ivana.
