In loving memory of Doreen Warrington, who passed away peacefully with her family at Branston Court Nursing Home on 22nd July 2018, aged 84. Much loved wife of the late Michael Arthur(Sam), dearly loved mum of Sarah & Paul and Bob & Marie and a special grandma, great grandma, sister and aunt.
Doreen worked for Ind Coope and Allsopp Limited from 1949-1964, when she left to raise her family. She returned to work in 1974 initially in the office at The Adult Training Centre in Burton, then transferring to social services in both Burton and Uttoxeter, her final role was that of Support Service Manager. Doreen retired in 1993, and filled her time looking after her grandchildren, learning new skills, going rambling and enjoying many holidays.

I knew Doreen through St Mary's Church and through Tutbury Mothers' Union. It was a privilege to have Doreen as a friend and she contributed much to the life and friendship of Tutbury Mothers' Union where for many years she served on the committee, attended meetings, came on outings and for a long term she took on the role of sending birthday cards to every member. Thank you Doreen and God Bless. PS I will be adding a few photos of Doreen taken at various Mothers' Union gatherings

Doreen was also a Great Aunty to Kirsty, a Great-Great Aunty to her children - Marissa, Kiera, Sharna Antony & Alysha, and a Great-Great-Great Aunty to Kaydee & Maycee who all send their love and Deepest Sympathies to Sarah, Paul, Robert & Marie at this sad time.
