By my reckoning it been a friendship of about 33 years - can still remember when you turned up on my door step aged 6 - don't think you ever really left. Not quite sure where that time has gone but will cherish the memories - really going to miss you mate.......

Tall Steve - I will miss your unique humour and our chats when we should have been working. I am so so sorry you have passed - you were such a genuine caring chap. My heart goes out to your family and I only hope the pain they feel eases when they think of all the warmth you brought to their lives.
Sleep well mate you will be missed. xx

They say in life you meet people that leave a memory.
We only met a handful of times but Steve you were one of those people. To see how happy you made Jaime was the best and you were always so kind and full of conversation when we came to see you all. You will be sadly missed and we won't forget you and your kindness 💓

Thank you so much steve I couldn’t of done a lot of things without you.
I wouldn’t of been able to get all my football trophies if you didn’t take me. You took me to school and picked me up after. We would go to forest matches together I’m going to miss all this with you. You would do anything for me.
Thank you so so much
From Connor

Steve you made us feel very welcomed at football and was always there to talk to when the ref got it wrong and me and Micky could have a moan with you.
Just got back in from football training and the sidelines just isn’t the same without you. You leave a most loving and devoted wife who will miss you so much and 3 wonderful children who will always remember you. You made Jaime so happy and you will be sadly missed xxxx
