This time last month I came to visit you in hospital for the very last time, whilst you were still with us.
Not a single day goes by without me thinking about you.
We all raised over £200 for the staff at Highfields, to treat themselves to something nice for taking such great care of you.

It seemed just like a normal day
At least that’s how it started
But suddenly my whole world changed
And left me broken hearted
I simply couldn’t guess
There would be so many tears to dry
Little did I know
That we had said our last goodbye
And still the shock of losing you
Is really hard to bear
But I can feel your presence
All around me everywhere
Because you were really special
And your love is still my guide
And although that I can’t see you
You are always by my side
