Dearest Hazel,

We first met when we were 5yrs old on our first day of school. We stayed in the same class throughout our school years only separated in a couple of lessons during the last two years. We worked hard and boy did we play hard, often getting into much mischief. When your mum and dad went on holiday you were only allowed to stay at home if I was there too, well what can I say!!

We hung around after we left school and only drifted when you got married and moved. We connected again a few years ago and it was great to catch up and we stayed in touch, however you never told me of your illness, so this has come as a great shock and I'm still in disbelief.

My old school photo's may have faded but my memories never will.
Good night my sweet, until we meet again.
Mucho love
