John Richard Shockley (1 Oct 1955 - 7 Jun 2018)

I first met John a long time ago, he was broken down at Paddington on slip to the A40. We hit it off and had a laugh on the side of the road. He asked me if there were any jobs going at C & S and I said there is always a job for the right person. I told him to mention me and that should be enough to get you the job. As the saying goes, the rest is history. We had some real great times in them days and you couldn't have wanted a better colleague to work with. When ever I saw him parked up I always stopped to have a catch up. One of a kind and will be sadly missed.

Miss you Daddy like crazy. It hurts your not here any more I wish I could make you a cuppa tea or spoil you and get pie and mash . you left a very big hole in my life that only you can fill u was my hero, my banter buddy, my safety blanket. Life's hard without you so many times I've wanted to ask you stuff and so much I wanna say to you I need you Daddy.
But your safe now in Nannas arms until we meet again love u forever and always xxx R. I. P xxxx

Sitting here thinking what to write brings back funny happy memories of John, Christine and aunt Hetty, when we would visit with my nan Elsie. Great banter and laughs.

It's still a shock to know you are no longer here. RIP John you will be sadly missed by many xx
