In loving memory of our dear dad, Charudatta Vasantrao Gupte, age 83, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on 1st July 2018.
Our dad will be remembered for his love for living life to the fullest. He was a Draughtsman and Engineer and was very successful in his profession. For his job he commuted to London from Kent for over 30 years, in one of over 30 cars that he owned in his lifetime.
Dad has always had a positive attitude to life and enjoyed being a family man. Known for his happy demeanor and his great smile, he had a great knack for telling top-notch, very entertaining stories and jokes! However, his main goal was to work hard for us two and mum and give us a wonderful quality of life. He enjoyed and had extensive knowledge of cars, high tech gadgets and computers and all DIY projects around the home. He has taught Rajeev and I all these skills for our lifetime.
It was dad’s wish a few weeks back to be reunited with our dear mum and we can be assured that mum and dad are happy together again. A true gentleman to the very end, your selfless, kind, generous attributes will be cherished by all of those who were lucky enough to know you dad.
We will all miss you dad, and may your new life with mum continue to be filled with love, laughter, music, delicious foods and traveling memories that you both created together. ❤️❤️
With love, Nikita and Rajeev
