Only just heard this very sad news, from a colleague of Caroline’s. I didn’t know Caroline amazingly well but she visited me at my school on half a dozen occasions and was always at the end of an email to share her wisdom and ideas linked to Special Educational Needs. The last meeting we had she didn’t seem her usual self and we talked at length about her dogs and her mother (I believe she was poorly at the time) and I came away feeling we had become friends. So sorry this lovely lady was taken so young and that she left her family behind who she spoke so fondly of. Please know that although I didn’t know her well she touched my life and I wish I could have got to know her better. My thoughts are with her family and friends but I’m sure she is watching down on you xx

Devastated at the loss of Caroline taken far too soon, she was so knowledgeable and will be missed by many. Sadly now unable to attend funeral but my thoughts and love are with Royston and Ben. Be strong and remember the sun will shine again one day. RIP Caroline XXX 💜💜💜
