Me and Alan in Venice in 1978 (i think). So slim and young. We had so many good times together going to the pub, football and seeing Marc Bolan and T Rex in concert. I won't mention Hard Hate-Gate but Bill will no what I mean. Always in my heart.

Always made me smile, such a kind and gentle man. We have such lovely memories, that week in Norfolk with the biggest tent you could ever imagine... You took up half the site and all nearly blew out to sea with gale force winds but no one was phased, that's camping!!! Let's turn the toaster on its side and make cheese on toast...... It kinda worked. Always made us laugh some how. God bless you Alan xxx Wendy Aaron Paige and Kian.

Alan,

I will always treasure the memory of you being the cool uncle. You touched my heart and inspired a strong part of my character and personality without even trying to do so. You always had the best stories about about your antics. I will always remember you trading football stickers with me and beating me at conckers every autumn. When we stayed with you, you played monopoly with us for hours even though we cheated and I will never forget your face when our parents came to pick us up and we sold you out and told them you had let us watch the running man.

Your kindness and love will always be missed but never be forgotten. Rest In Peace.

Anthony

Alan was a legendary Gooner, I will always remember him as the loving, caring Uncle who I watched old school Arsenal games with in Grandads lounge! Very happy to support a great charity and cause in his name.
