So sad to learn this news. It was such a pleasure meeting Nick the time we visited outside Fort William and at your house. My sincerest sympathies to you and to James as well. We will always remember Nick's personality and miss him very much. Linda, Florida, USA

Such a great loss. We met Nick, I believe, when traveling with Linda in your fair country. A lovely meal shared, with lively conversation and lovely connection. We didn't share much working time together, but whenever we did it was always a very great pleasure to talk business or other stuff and you were always a cheerful and engaging person to be with. You will be missed so much by so many.

I have been Nick's colleague for a short while, but his personality and sense of humour struck me from day one and I have got a lovely memory (among other ones) of him singing during one karaoke's evening. He had so many gifts and talent, and definitely talent in singing too. We will miss you but we feel that you're at peace now and this comfort all of us. <3

Nick's sense of humour is already sorely missed ... one of our more serious conversations in the office:

A: "Edward"

A: "Dunno, but Edward Woodward would"

I have not been in travel as long as many of my piers, but have worked across a number of industries, and to meet someone with the level of passion for their chosen profession that Nick had is rare. He was truly someone you wanted to spend time with as he made any event more entertaining by his presence. A light extinguished far too early.

Nick you will be sadly missed at ETOA events - your charm and warmth always gave a touch of vitality and enthusiasm to proceedings - and you were such an immaculate showman, making everyone feel special. With condolences to your family from all at G1
