Peter was such a gentleman, with his calm persona and ability to listen. He always made time and gave his all to everything he did. Thank you for being a friend and a work colleague. Always a bandit at golf but always helped look for my ball. I will miss you dearly. LV. Steve

A Prayer:

Almighty God - may we never forget the slenderness of the thread which separates life from death, and the suddenness with which it can be broken. Help us also to remember that on both sides of that division we are surrounded by Your love. Persuade our hearts LORD that when our dear ones die neither we nor they are ever parted from You. In You may we find our peace and in You be united with them in the glorious body of Christ, Who has burst the bonds of death and is alive for evermore, our Saviour and theirs for ever and ever.
Amen.

You know what they say, God only takes the best,
Hopefully now, with no pain, you can finally rest.
We should never question what God has planned,
Sometimes it's not meant for us to understand.
Everything happens for a reason, it’s hard to agree,
Watching you suffer was so hard to see.
Thank you for your friendship and memories I hold dear,
It's been a privilege to have known you for so many years.
I miss our office chats and never ending cups of tea,
The pub for lunch and on a Friday, cakes with cream.
After you retired I missed you like mad,
But we still met now and again and I was so glad,
The thought of never seeing you again makes me cry,
I am so sad not to be there to say goodbye.
My thoughts will be with you, I have to say
And hope that we will meet again someday.
