Valerie Joyce "Val" Reith (Passed away 4 Jun 2018)

Well Auntie Val tomorrow we will pay our final respects to you. Your family have done you proud honouring your memory and celebrating your life even while they're still coming to terms with losing you. I've said it before but will say it again. I loved you. You were kind, graceful, elegant, beautiful inside and out, generous and an amazing cook. Behave yourself up there with nana. Until we meet again, rest in peace. Xxx

Big Sis Val - life will never be the same. You were always so positive, so happy and such a joy to speak to or be with. My Mum thought the world of you as you did of her and I do as well. Many lovely memories of the times you all stayed with us as kids and times with you and Barry since then. You will always be with me. Love, your bro Mike xxxx

I just want to say when I heard the news about my beloved Auntie Val my big brother Darren broke it too me having told me to pull over from the motorway, I am so glad I did because the shock hit me so hard, Valerie was without a doubt one of the most beautiful, caring and family driven ladies I’ve ever known, she added so much energy into our family and gave me some of the best childhood memories I hold today. My favourite memory was my first ever trip to a real forest and seeing horses close up (new forest) then back to her house with our fantastic uncle Barrie they made me the most simple but delicious cheese on toast and she put ketchup on it much to my shock but I loved it and have done ever since. Thank you so much for all the lovely memories I will cherish them forever and always, I know you’ve joined the other great angels in the sky and one day we will see each other again I love you always Auntie Val.
