In loving memory of Owen Sheridan who sadly passed away on 18th May 2018 aged 74.
Our wonderful husband, dad and grandad passed away after a brave fight against oesophageal cancer. He was fearless until the end and passed peacefully away on a beautiful sunny May morning surrounded by love with his family next to him.
Dad (or Silver Fox as we liked to call him) was one of a kind. His sparkling personality, dry wit and endless generosity was renowned and he was remembered fondly by everyone he met. He loved his wife Marie and his four girls Caroline, Audrey, Sharon & Jo unconditionally and spread that love to the son-in-laws he gained and the 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson he adored.
If ever anyone had a ‘life well lived’ it was Owen and we will be celebrating his wonderful life with everyone that knew him on Friday 15th June.
We are requesting family flowers only at his funeral with donations gratefully received on behalf of John Taylor Hospice. It’s an amazing charity and dad was so thankful for everything they did for him - especially his angel Pip for all the kindness, care and laughter.
