David was born and lived in Hucknall where he ran his own business ' D.A.C Driving Tuition working as a Driving instructor from 1989-2017, serving Hucknall and Nottinghamshire. A proud father to his Daughter Katie and Son Robert and overjoyed Grandfather to Ryan, the apple of his eye. David Enjoyed family fossil excavating holidays to Whitby and day trips to the seaside for Arcades and fish and chips over the years with his children and in more recent years with his Grandson Ryan. He was also an avid Antique collector and dealer, leaving behind a collection of Viking Artifacts and wartime memorabilia worthy of a museum. A creative genius building dolls houses, rabbit hutches, Hornby trainsets and restoring his antique finds.

Loved and missed unconditionally by his children, grandson, sister, niece, nephew, extended family and neighbours.

Losing a father is one of the greatest pains I still have not learnt to accept. My heart hurts with you as I understand the loss. He was a great dad and grandad. You being you have done him proud. God bless and see you there. Aunty T and uncle D x
