In loving memory of Lilah Frances McLeod who sadly passed away on 17th May 2018.
Lilah was born on 15 January 1941 to Helena and Frederick Vincent and became sister to Irene.
Growing up, Lilah was very much a tomboy, always getting into scrapes and trouble and rarely managing to stay clean and tidy from morning until night. All sports were her passion especially football.
Although she disliked spending her younger years at school, she made lots of very good life long friends along the way from her school days and working life.
As a teenager, she frequented the Palais Dance Hall where in 1958 she met Dave, who turned out to be the love of her life and in 1960 got engaged to be married. On 22 September 1962, they were married at St Andrews Church.
Lilah and Dave went on to have three wonderful children, Sharon, Philip and Stuart and were married for 48 happy years until Dave sadly passed on 18 January 2011.
Lilah was always surrounded by her family and so proud when her grandchildren, Liona, Sara and Scott and Joanne came along and shared her life for many years.
Lilah went on many holidays with her family and they regularly went out for lunches and evening dinners.
She was the matriarch of this close family and will be sorely missed.
