In loving memory of Anne Bramwell
After a long illness Anne sadly passed away with family by her side at Lincoln County Hospital on the 12th May 2018. With a great sense of humour right until the end Anne will leave a massive gap in all of our lives.
Anne leaves behind her loving husband Malc and children Paul, Karen and Alan also mum to Andrew (who sadly passed away earlier this year) She was a much loved Nana to nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Brought up in the West End of Lincoln, Anne attended St Faith and St Martins Junior School on Hampton Street and the Spring Hill Secondary Girls School. After leaving school Anne had various jobs but spent the majority of her working life as a Mental Health Auxiliary Nurse at the Lawn and St Johns Hospitals before being forced to retire early due to the onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Married to Malc in June 1961 they moved to the family home on Laughton Way North in Lincoln in August 1963, never to move home again.
Anne's funeral service will be held at the Lincoln Crematorium on the 1st June 2018 at 10.30am, followed by a gathering of her family and friends for a reception to be held at The Castle Ward Club, Kingsley Street, Lincoln. All are welcome. Family flowers only please, donations to the St Barnabas Hospice would be greatly appreciated, donations can be made in Annes' memory via the link on this page, or via a collection box that will be situated at the Funeral Service.
It would be great if you could upload any messages, memories or photo's that will help us all remember Anne. Family members will be regularly visiting to see your memories.
