Dad, no words can describe how hard it is now your gone but as we gather here today to celebrate the life you had, it becomes a little easier seeing how many peoples life you touched along the way.
Although you wasn’t always the easiest people to understand/read we all knew you were always there for us and we could count on you for anything. You always did you best to make sure we had what we needed and more. You taught us so many things in life and gave us strength and courage and believed in everything we do.
You have always shown us love and filled our life with laughter, we have many happy memories that bring smiles to our faces in which we will cherish forever.
Over the last few months we saw you grow more tired but still you would laugh and joke. Although the it’s a sad time and you will truly surely be missed, we can find comfort in the knowledge that you can rest. And you’re finally at peace.
We love you always and are forever in our hearts
A devoted, husband, father, granddad, brother and friend x
