Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 5th aged 86 years, George Best. The dearly loved husband of Ella (nee Jones). A much loved dad, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and a devoted grandad and great grandad. Friends please meet on Friday May 11th for service in St Paul’s Church, Haswell at 10.30am. Interment to follow in Thornley Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to the MacMillan Nurses A collection plate will be provided at the church.
