Shubhalaxmi Charudatta Gupte (6 Jan 1938 - 2 May 2018)

In loving memory of our dear mum, Shubhalaxmi Charudatta Gupte, age 80, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on 2nd May 2018.

Our mum will be remembered by her family and friends as a generous, selfless, happy, enthusiastic, kind lady who always put others before herself. Mum will be so greatly missed by our dad, who she has relentlessly cared for during the last 20 years, even whilst she was suffering from cancer in the last three years.

In each and every response to our mums passing away, the same three words have been repeated over and over again ~Amazing, Great and Brave, she most definitely was all three.

Mum lead a full, beautiful and successful life with our dad from when they first met in Mumbai, India in 1955. They both enjoyed building their life together in England in the 1960’s, both always working full time and raising two wonderful children. Mum later went on to be a business woman, running her own small post office businesses.
Mum and dad always enjoyed socializing with their dear friends and entertaining. Mum was very, very ‘house proud’. They had a passion for traveling abroad and exploring new cultures and foods together.

Mum was so very proud of all four of her grandchildren, Rohan, Rahul, Saloni and Cameron. She was always supportive and interested in their successes, failures and marvelous achievements.

We will all miss you mum, you are more than ‘AMAZING’ to all of us, may we aspire to be like you. ❤️❤️
