I got to know David through Methodism over 20 years ago. He was an absolute legend, kind, caring, often humorous and friendly to a very high degree. We hadn’t seen each other for quite a while but were planning to meet again soon. Now it’ll never happen. RIP, my friend.

I grew up with david and counted raisins at his auntie violet went through school and we had many happy times. Have been away from the north east for many years but can't believe he has gone. So many memories. RIP David
