At our meeting on Wednesday Abbey W.I. members were told about Gloria passing away. It is with sad heart that I convey their message of condolence to her friends and family.
Gloria was a true friend to us all, always smiling and involved in our activities. We have happy memories of her at both our meetings and our events. She took a keen interest in us all and would happily join in with what ever we were doing.
On a personal note I greatly enjoyed her company, she was a great help to me when she house/cat sat for me a few years ago, she was a lovely lady. Our meet up in Crete with Claire and Steve was most eventful, which afterwards gave us all a good laugh. Rest in Peace Gloria
