Well this takes my breath away. I was only thinking of Pat the other day when we went to look at our new allotment down here in Dorset. We first met Pat & Jinty on an allotment site in Hampton Wick. Pat & Jinty had the neighbouring plot. You want to be careful of him everyone said. He’s mad. They were right, he was in a really generous open hearted way. Pat was always willing to help and always happy to talk about his latest schemes. It was always instructive to see what animal he had rescued from moderately psychotic feral kittens with paws covered in masking tape to stop the little buggers from tearing your skin off to squirrels which contrary to what Pat said did bite. I’m richer in spirit for having known Pat he was a really good guy and our hearts go out to Jinty.
