Such sad news and thoughts very much with family and close friends. We only met a few times following the birth of our son Isaac who has Cerebral Palsy and I will remember fondly your visit (and speech at our charity evening) which boosted and widened our horizon of hope so much for the future. You are and always will be a hero in our home and know your legacy will live on a long, long time. Your sense of humour will be a gift up there now. RIP Alan, love from Andy, Rachael, Connie, Isaac and Violet x
